FTP for home directory

Is it possible to create one FTP account that can access the home dir of all websites?

Use default SFTP with root access? That's what I do right now.

by default the root SFTP will login to the directory /root/ ( home dir of root user) . from there you need to change the directory to /home/ there you can see all directories with sitenames..
