Feature request: Add "password protect folder" capability to CyberPanel

It is mostly easier and more intuitive with Apache. OLS is very different, a solid interface would ease management and security for administrative areas.

  • AFAIK, the whole point of using a panel like CP is to ease the server management. Otherwise I could already do everything using config files or a collection of bash scripts.

    Having such a feature in File Manager for example would ease the burden. This might be most wanted feature by webmasters/administrators.

    Yet I do not see a great number of users requesting it.

    I saw several mentions of an old voting practice, did not see the actual votes.

    Is the following long list of steps how you do it currently? I ask because it is a rather old post.
